Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern all transactions between HOME SECURE LTD (“we,” “us,” “our”) and you (“customer,” “you”) for shipped products and on-site services. By purchasing products or booking services, you agree to these terms.
1. Definitions
- Shipped Products: Physical security equipment (e.g., CCTV cameras, alarms, sensors) delivered to your address.
- On-Site Services: Professional services performed at your property (e.g., system installation, maintenance, repairs).
2. Orders & Payments
- Shipped Products: Orders are confirmed once payment is processed. We reserve the right to cancel orders if products are unavailable, with a full refund issued promptly. Prices are quoted in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
- On-Site Services: A 50% deposit is required to secure an appointment. The remaining balance is due upon service completion. Quotes are valid for 30 days from issuance.
3. Product & Service Guarantees
- Shipped Products: All products come with a manufacturer’s warranty (typically 12–24 months). We facilitate warranty claims but are not liable for defects covered by the manufacturer.
- On-Site Services: We guarantee workmanship for 12 months from completion. This covers defects in installation or maintenance but excludes damage from:
- Improper use of equipment by the customer.
- External events (e.g., power surges, natural disasters).
- Modifications by third parties.
4. Delivery & Service Performance
- Shipped Products: We aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 business days. Delivery timelines are estimates provided by our couriers; we are not liable for delays due to weather, strikes, or courier errors.
- On-Site Services: Our technicians will arrive within the scheduled 2-hour window. If we miss the window without prior notice, we’ll provide a 15% discount on your next service.
5. Limitation of Liability
- We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of business, data, or revenue) arising from the use or inability to use our products or services.
- Our total liability for any claim related to a shipped product is limited to the purchase price of that product.
- For on-site services, our total liability is limited to the cost of re-performing the service.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- For shipped products: Inspect deliveries promptly and report damages within 48 hours (per our Returns & Exchanges policy).
- For on-site services: Provide safe access to the property, clear workspaces, and ensure pets/children are supervised during service. Failure to do so may result in service delays or additional fees.
7. Intellectual Property
- All trademarks, logos, and product designs displayed on our website or materials are the property of HOME SECURE LTD or our suppliers. You may not reproduce or use them without written permission.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Liverpool, unless both parties agree to alternative arbitration.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms periodically. The latest version will be posted on our website, and your continued use of our products/services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
